If you find yourself tossing and turning in bed every night then you’re probably not getting enough good quality sleep. We all need a good rest every night to keep us feeling happy and healthy so it’s important to make your bed as comfortable as possible.
Here are five ways to make your bed more comfortable:
Thread count
Do you know what thread count the sheets on your bed are? The higher the thread count the softer and cosier your sheets will be. We recommend sheets with a thread count of about 400 – 600, look out for terms like Egyptian Cotton and Pima Cotton for luxurious sheets that will feel soft on your skin all night long.
Supportive pillows
If you find that you’re waking up every morning with a stiff neck or a sore back then you may benefit from supportive pillows. Supportive pillows can be made from foam, memory foam, or latex. There are a huge variety of different therapeutic pillows available on the market from contoured pillows to leg positioner pillows and lumbar roll pillows.
Layers
If you find it difficult to regulate your temperature in the night then instead of having one big thick duvet try having multiple layers on your bed. Try layering different blankets on your bed so that you can add them and remove them as required.
Memory foam topper
If you don’t think it’s time for a new mattress yet but you’re not comfortable, try investing in a memory foam mattress topper, that little extra layer can make all the difference!
Buy a new mattress
If it’s time for a new mattress then consider your options carefully before buying. At CP Furniture Sales we have a huge variety of different mattressesavailable, including special supportive ones for people who suffer from backache and luxurious memory foam mattresses.
